Inspired by a narrow broken pier along the northern coast of the Carolinas, the design captures the mystique of long, cobbled structures that attract diverse ocean life, including some of the most dangerous fish and adventurous surfers. Central to the artwork is a ghostly skeleton from the elusive GHOST SHIP Crew, who rides the large moonlit swells breaking off splintered piers recently ravaged by nor’easters. This destroyed pier forms a perfect frothy peak, setting the stage for silhouetted barrels, snaps, and the rarely captured roundhouse cutback, vividly brought to life by artists Andy Howell and Charles Harmon.
