The Graphic

The design captures an abstracted hurricane wave crashing at the iconic Cape Hatteras Lighthouse on the Outer Banks — the Graveyard of the Atlantic. Bursting from the barrel of the wave is a surfing eyeball, a direct nod to the lowbrow art movement and the surf and car culture artists of the 60s and 70s, including Rick Griffin and the Family Dog collective who defined rock poster art.

Spanish artist Ramone Sketch collaborated on the concept and delivered the final illustration in both monochrome and color versions — a standout piece of wearable art.
