Eye of the Storm depicts an abstracted hurricane wave at the Hatteras Lighthouse on the Outer Banks, with a surfing eyeball emerging from the barrel. The graphic takes inspiration from early lowbrow imagery as made famous by car culture and surf artists including Rick Griffin and the Family Dog stable of artists on rock posters during the 60’s and 70’s.

Artist Ramone Sketch from Spain collaborated with us on the concept, and then rendered the final illustration in black and white and color versions.

5.0 oz 100% organic cotton made sustainably from BCI cotton and dyed with low impact dyes.

Care

• Machine wash cold, inside out, gently cycle with mild detergent. 
• Wash with similar colors, do not use softeners.
• Tumble dry low, or hang dry for longest life.
• Do not dry clean.
• Cool iron inside out if necessary, do not iron embellishments.
