About Ghost Ship Skateboards and Master Boardmaker Professor Schmitt
Ghost Ship Limited Edition Skate Deck shapes trace the evolution of modern skateboarding from mid 80's to present day, featuring graphics designed by local and international artists. Created in collaboration with master skateboard maker Professor Paul Schmitt at his infamous PS Stix Skateboard Factory, all decks are hand numbered X/50 on the top screen print and plate signed by Professor Schmitt and Ghost Ship Artist and Founder, Andy Howell. Board dimensions are included in the top screen of each deck, allowing each skater to truly understand the way boards are shaped and which sizes will work best for him or her.
Professor Schmitt (@professorschmitt) developed the original molds for modern concave that helped skateboarding evolve from the flat decks of the early 80’s to the functional double kick concaves of the late 80’s and early 90’s. He creates custom shapes for many of the worlds most influential skateboarders and many believe he makes the best skateboard decks in the world.
